Responsibilities of a Store Keeper include: • Monitoring overall inventory management.
• Taking a physical inventory once a month to compare to the monthly inventory report.
• Receiving materials and preparing MRR Bin cards, issuing SIVs, and stock reporting. Ensure the creation and administration of materials planning functions. Develop item-specific predictions across a time horizon to be utilized for effective and efficient inventory management.
• Responsible for storekeeping, paperwork, and record keeping; ensure indents are raised and necessary documentation is produced on a timely basis for the procurement of supplies.
• Depending on the type of item to be purchased, forward relevant papers to corporate or unit purchasing.
• Produce Materials Received Reports (MRR) on schedule. Input production data into the computerized inventory system in accordance with the purchase order. Count stocks as part of physical inventories.
• Experience in different commercial operations such as procurement, export-import, banking, and L/C.
• Finding new suppliers, as well as sampling, testing, and approval for new product development
• To ensure that items are kept in the first in, first out order (FIFO).
• To guarantee that the relevant data is recorded in the ledger and computer on time.
• Oversee the transit of products from the manufacturing site to the consumer to the customer.
• Create and implement a logistical procedure.
Requirements for a Store Keeper:
• Must be organized and prompt.
• Professional and well-presented.
• Excellent computer skills are required.
• Prior retail experience is desired, as is knowledge of ERP.
• Outstanding oral and written communication abilities.
• Microsoft Office prowess.
• A minimum of a graduate degree
• A minimum of 2-3 years of work experience is necessary.
Full-time employment
Monthly salary: AED2,500.00 – AED3,000.00
