About Our Team
The Agoda Beds Network team is a completely new department within Agoda dedicated to enhancing supplier quality and inventory. We work hard to ensure the success of our accommodation partners since they are critical to our success. As a result, the Agoda bed bank team focuses on strategic account management. We act as advisors and thinking partners, providing strategic advise on how to flourish on Agoda’s commercial platforms by implementing new solutions. We work and collaborate globally with the support of industry-leading technology to bring together the greatest ideas from varied perspectives and seek to ensure the best value for our partners, customers, and Agoda.
The Possibility:
As a Business Development Manager, you will cultivate, establish, and nurture account connections to help Agoda expand its network of hotel partnerships and lodging inventory supply. In order to handle Agoda’s hotel market and market partnership-related duties, the Business Development Manager draws on their experience in procurement, e-commerce, revenue management, and the hotel/travel/hospitality industry in general.
You will be able to do the following in this role:
Identify, pitch, and develop new supplier partnerships for Agoda, with an emphasis on the bed bank and wholesale sectors.
Introduce and explain the new department’s strategic advantages.
Increase portfolio bookings, revenues, and gross profit.
Provide data-driven business solutions to maximise Agoda’s accommodation availability, content competitiveness, and business growth for hotel partners.
Evaluate existing partnerships and plan strategies to improve performance.
Identifying, prioritising, negotiating, contracting, and onboarding non-participating hotels while guaranteeing advantageous terms and conditions.
Create project ideas, identify opportunities, and apply new techniques.
Work in an information-driven environment.
Investigate and resolve rate and availability issues that are hindering hotels from optimal booking performance, such as connectivity, rate mapping, extranet management, and so on.
Develop and implement solutions to unique difficulties by thinking outside the box.
Prepare materials and presentations
Control weekly/monthly supplier and internal reporting.
