Job Overview – Tool Stores Warehouse & Logistics Junior Assistant
The Tool Stores Warehouse & Logistics Junior Assistant plays a vital support role within the Warehouse & Logistics team. The position ensures that all tools, materials, and logistics requests raised by aircraft maintenance teams are fulfilled safely, accurately, and on time, in line with approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Engineering Procedure Manuals (EPMs).
This is a safety-sensitive role, requiring strict adherence to safety policies and operational guidelines at all times.
Key Responsibilities
As a Tool Stores Warehouse & Logistics Junior Assistant in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, your main duties will include:
Warehouse & Logistics Operations
- Perform daily warehouse and logistics tasks across assigned functional areas such as:
- Goods Inwards
- Main Stores
- Sub Stores
- Tool Stores
- Line Maintenance Stores
- Outstation Support
- Spares Distribution
Material Handling & Support
- Carry out picking, packing, sorting, stocking, transporting, and pre-loading of tools and materials.
- Support Assistants and Senior Assistants to achieve customer Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and sectional performance targets.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure full compliance with SOPs, EPMs, and Emirates Engineering safety standards.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures to maintain a secure working environment.
Systems & Equipment Operation
- Operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) as per assigned duties.
- Perform system transactions using handheld devices and warehouse management systems.
Required Qualifications
To be eligible for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Minimum 10 years of schooling or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience in Warehouse and Logistics operations
- Airside Driving Permit (ADP) – an added advantage
- Ability to work in a safety-sensitive role with high attention to detail
Previous experience in aviation, engineering stores, or logistics environments is highly desirable.
