AFCAT Entry:
- Flying Branch: 3 Vacancies
- Ground Duty (Technical): 156 Vacancies
- Ground Duty (Non-Technical): 99 Vacancies
NCC Special Entry:
- Flying Branch: 10% of total vacancies reserved for NCC Air Wing ‘C’ Certificate holders.
🎓 Eligibility Criteria
Nationality:
- Must be a citizen of India.
Age Limit:
- Flying Branch: 20 to 24 years (Relaxation up to 26 years for CPL holders).
- Ground Duty (Tech & Non-Tech): 20 to 26 years.
Educational Qualifications:
Flying Branch:
- Minimum 60% in Graduation (any discipline) or B.E./B.Tech with Physics and Maths in 10+2.
Ground Duty (Technical):
- B.E./B.Tech in relevant engineering disciplines with 60% or equivalent.
Ground Duty (Non-Technical):
- Graduate/Postgraduate in relevant fields like Administration, Logistics, Education, Accounts, or Meteorology.
📝 Selection Process
- AFCAT Online Written Exam
- Air Force Selection Board (AFSB) Interview
- Medical Examination
NCC Special Entry candidates are exempted from the written exam and are directly called for AFSB testing.

🏅 Salary & Benefits
- Flying Officer Pay: ₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500 per month + MSP ₹15,500
- Stipend During Training: ₹56,100/month
- Additional Benefits: Flying/Technical Allowance, Travel Allowance, Insurance up to ₹1.25 Cr, and Pension (for PC).
🏃♂️ Training & Physical Fitness
Training begins in July 2026:
- Flying & Technical: 62 weeks
- Non-Technical: 52 weeks
Candidates must be physically fit and capable of running 1.6 km in 10 minutes, performing 20 push-ups and 8 chin-ups.
